From last night 21:45 (9:45PM) to about 1:00 (1:00 AM) this morning, Khlar-106 under the military council based in Mawt Ka Nin village in the north of Ye Township fired heavily at the village area, causing an explosion to hit a house in the Car Port area, injuring five 5 family members, according to a local residents.
“The house where the weapon fell is a house in the parking lot on the outskirts of Mawt Ka Nin village. All 5 family members were injured. The house was also damaged,” the resident added.
According to the local resident, the shooting of the 106th Battalion based in Mawt Ka Nin Village, Khlara-106 Battalion, may be related to the PDF (People’s Democratic Front) group’s arrest of Major, the Headquarters Company Commander of the Battalion.
From 1st of January to 6th of June today, the Military Council Battalion in Ye Township. According to local news sources, a child was killed and at least 13 local civilians were injured as a result of heavy weapons firing from military bases.
