According to the officials of Mon National College, those who failed the university entrance exam in 2024 can continue their studies at Mon National College after attending Pre-College.
An official of Mon National High School or an official of Mon National College said that those who failed the university entrance exam from public high schools will be able to attend a year of pre-college and continue to Mon National College.
“At Pre-College, we no longer ask to take a test. Just fill in the required quality. But you have to take the English proficiency test. Because if you go to Mon National College, it will be convenient for you to learn English. If you don’t learn English, you won’t be able to go to college. All of them are taught in English,” he said.
Those who failed the university entrance exam need not be discouraged; Attend Pre-College and continue studying at Mon National College. He also said that through this, he can go on to international schools and try to attend Pre-College.
Mon National College, Mon students, aiming for students to continue their education in international universities. In the New Mon State Party controlled area, it was opened last June of 2022 in Nyisar Village in Ye Cheong Pyar (Ye River) Region.
The Mon National College will start offering courses such as Tests of General Educational Development (GED), Leadership & Management, Teacher Education, Media, and Mon Literature. Mon culture and Mon history subjects, World Social Studies, human rights and environmental subjects; research subjects in addition to physics, English in addition to teaching computer basics, they are also teaching nursing science and medicine to provide a full degree.
